Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
, based on the popular 1988 MGM film, takes us to the French Riviera for high jinks and hilarity. Sophisticated, suave with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score by David Yazbek (The Band’s Visit, The Full Monty) and was nominated for a staggering eleven Tony Awards.

Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother's failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together, only to find that this small French town isn't big enough for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female target, heiress, Christine Colgate, wins, and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end!

Lawrence Jameson - An older, wiser, and sophisticated con artist who is sophisticated, suave, and elegant. He needs to be able to affect Middle European and German/Austrian accents at different points in the show (he will have to sing with Austrian accent). G2-Bb4 (tenor)

Freddy Benson - A young, clever, aspiring American con artist. A2-B4 (tenor)

Christine Colgate - A seemingly good-natured American heiress vacationing on the French Riviera, who is revealed to be a notorious con artist. Naive and clueless at first, she becomes cunning and mischievous. A3-F#5 (soprano)

Andre Thibault - Lawrence's French assistant. Official and mostly serious, he has a light-hearted nature and a quirky sense of humor. he needs to be able to affect a French accent. F2-F4 (bari-tenor)

Muriel Eubanks - A wealthy and attractive American socialite from Nebraska, she one of Lawrence's victims and Andre's subsequent love interest. E3-C5 (mezzo-soprano)

Jolene Oakes - An American heiress from Oklahoma and the "Princess of Petroleum," she is very eager, optimistic, and energetic. A3-D5 (mezzo-soprano)

Ensemble - Waiters, Butlers, Maids, etc. Also looking for strong dance ensemble.
